As someone seeking a Personal Trainer, you should expect to get the same high level of professionalism that you would from any other specialist. That’s why our primary focus is to help you develop the necessary skills to take ownership of your own health, fitness and well-being and along the way empower you to develop positive life-long habits and behaviours.
My team have essentially spent 5-7 years as a minimum pursuing a career in health and fitness. Years 10-12 at school we are following our path towards health and fitness and then spend the next 3-5 years enrolled full-time in a Sport or Exercise Science degree. So when we come out the other side and if we are still loving it and now working at Just In Time Personal Training, we have spent 5-8 years following our passion.
Try just one session and I can almost guarantee that you will see that passion, education and empathy and then how we will impart that onto you to get the very best out of you.
Alternatively, if you would prefer a gym facility where you can join as a member with access to gym, fitness classes, pool, spa and then have us as your Personal Trainer, we manage the Wharf Club gym in the Docklands!
Our complete model of Personal Training consists of:
- 100% focus on you and your needs. Most of our clients train with us one-on-one, or two-on-one but limited to a maximum of four-on-one. Group sessions are not Personal Training. Cross-fit, boot camps and other group fitness classes cannot provide you with a specialist health assessment, keep you safe from injury or offer you individual health and fitness programs, nutrition plans or specific guidance for positive behavioral changes.
- All sessions are 1 hour duration, incorporating whatever your needs are and focussed around your goals but essentially a combination of cardio and strength training exercises including muscular strength and endurance, aerobic endurance and flexibility. We’ll also include some assessment time to monitor your progress and review your short and long term goals.
- Accountability is an important part of training and each week you’ll get a private weigh-in. Utilising a state-of-the-art OMRON body composition device we can measure your weight, BMI, body fat, visceral fat and skeletal muscle. Each week we will email your results on your own personalised chart (if desired).
- During your session we will rate your exercise technique from 1-10 so that you can learn the safest, most effective ways to train and help keep motivated and owning your own health and well-being.
We’ll come to you so that you can maximise your training time!
- There are no start-up fees, joining fees or minimum terms of commitment – why should there be? Personal Training is about you and your needs, not ours! You can pay for a block of training or pay-as-you train, whichever works best for you. As for cancellations, there is no charge if you give us more than 24 hours’ notice.
- We will not buy products or supplements and sell them to you at marked up prices. In fact if you have any small equipment needs, we will access and deliver them to you at cost price. Need your swiss ball pumped up? We can do that for you too!
- All clients that commit to training with us receive my personally designed Just In Time Personal Training Calendar that not only serves as a twelve month diary but more importantly as an educational reference and accountability logbook. You also receive a Just In Time PT water bottle, hand towel and tote bag to store all of your exercise gear, calendar and designed programs.
- You’ll start with a comprehensive and individualised health, fitness and posture appraisal and as we progress we will design unlimited personal programs for you to complete in your own time. We can also provide you with detailed weekly healthy eating plans to help you modify your eating habits and educate you along the way for sustainable change.
- You are always welcome to call, email or text us 24-7 in between sessions and we will get back to you and help you every step of the way – that is our job and how I believe personal training should be done!
